Internet Exchange Point templateThe Internet Exchange Point template is used to provide details of your operations as an IXP. Start of IX service (service-plan)The service-plan attribute specifies when the IX started, or plans to start, offering IX services using the requested address assignment. The date should be in the format of YYYYMMDD (YYYY - year, MM - month, and DD - day, all values 0 filled). Example: service-plan: 20020201 List of IX members (ix-member)The ix-member attribute lists the current members of the IXP and their AS number as used at the IX. List your IX members in the following format, using multiple lines: <mem-name> <as-number> <mem-contact> <mem-phone> <mem-email>
If you are not yet operational and have no members, please leave this attribute blank. Example: ix-member: ISP-GLOBE 1234 Kg Xander +681-368-0844 kxander@sparkynet.com.wf IXP policy web page (ixp-policy)APNIC must verify that there is a clear and open policy for other organisations to join the Internet Exchange. Therefore, please specify a URL where APNIC can view your IXP membership policy. If you do not have your IXP policy posted to your web site or FTP site, please include a copy of your IXP policy in the Additional Information section of the portable request form and note the inclusion of the policy document in the ixp-policy attribute.
