About the logo
Graphic Designer Chiaki Kanno explains her vision of the design:
"I see the balanced, interweaving bands as representing the harmony, fairness, and sense of community that APNIC stands for. By styling the bands around the simplified forms of the letters "a" and "p", I also hope to connect these values strongly to the Asia Pacific region. Within this environment of cooperation and community, the typeface reflects the modern, professional approach that APNIC has expressed in its value statements."
